Comprehensive Analysis of Resource-environment Pressure from Consumption of Chinese Citizens

This paper researches the relative status between population,consumption and environment in different stages,and studies different pressure from life consumption by calculating consumption-pressure population.According to the results,the rising consumption level turned into the dominant factor of the resource-environment pressure,as the material production and consumption scale enlarge continually.In the meantime,the pressure from the life consumption appears to be remarkably different between provinces,which would make the policy making for the sustainable development of our country more difficult.These problems should be taken into consideration in the Chinese sustainable consumption strategy.
