Abstract
Liang Shu and Chen Shu are two books compiled by Yao Cha and Yao Silian. They have not only played an important role in China's history study,but also had a characteristic of literariness. Although their literariness can not surpass Si Shi,it can not be doubted that some of its chapters should be listed in the biographical literature series. Literariness of the two books is mainly reflected in the following aspects:Yao and his son write unadorned words to describe truth. It is a writing style of being brief,strict and clean,especially in the writing of describing characters.
