The Analysis of Earthquake Emergency Management in China A Case Study of YUSHU Earthquake

Abstract

The present paper explores the earthquake emergency management model for China based on Syracuse University's model and the actual property of YUSHU earthquake in China;then,the author analyzes the experiences and lessons from earthquake emergency management in China guided by the rules of emergency management provided by the book Emergency Response Method which include four stages: prevention and preparation,monitor and early warning,response and secure,recovery.At last,the author put forwards some suggestions for future earthquake emergency management in China.
