Abstract
The excavating process of the dichotomy tunnel is simulated,by building a numerical model with ABAQUS software. Then the deformation of the surrounding rock and stress distribution are analyzed under excavation in adverse geologic areas.Based on the numerical analysis, support modes are presented against different structural style. The case study shows that the support mode improves effectively the stress distribution of the surrounding rock, and the deformation of the surrounding rock is controlled.
