Abstract

This paper presents a softmeasuring method to measure the core coolant temperature at the outlet of the 200 MW nuclear heating reactor. Two sheath thermcouples are immersed in a space or thogonal slot located at one side of a supporting grid plate for fuel assemblies. The core coolant temperature at the outlet is evaluated according to the temperature measured by the two thermocouples. This measuring method has been tested by experiments,an empirical formula is for evaluating the core coolant temperature has been obtained. Its maximal measurement error for the NHR200 is 1.7℃.
