Survey and analysis on outpatient prescriptions of traditional and western medicine in our hospital

Objective:To analyze the use about outpatient prescriptions of traditional and western medicine in our hospital,and evaluate its rationality. Methods:Outpatient prescriptions of traditional and western medicine were selected randomly for analysis of the situation about clinical administration in the 2nd quarter of 2009,and each amount was 5 000. Results:Two kinds of drugs per prescription of western medicine and 129.91 yuan per prescription were prescribed on an average. The usage of antibacterials,injection,the common name of drug and irrational prescriptions were 32.27% ,24.42%,97.81% and 15.67%,respectively. Conclusion:The use about outpatient prescriptions of traditional and western medicine was basically rational,but it remains to be further improved on the usage and dosage of traditional and western medicine and the use of antibacterials,injection and chinese patent medicine especially.
