Abstract

[Objective] The aim was to study the antifungal activities of extracts from 9 medicinal plants on 3 phytopathogenic fungi.[Method] The antifungal activities of extracts from 9 medicinal plants in Xishuangbanna tropical botanical garden on Alternaria solani,Fusarium solani, and Colletotrichum musae were determined by growth rate methods.[Result] The results indicated that acetone extracts with different concentration(0.100、0.010 and 0.005 g/ml) from the 9 medicinal plants showed inhibition activities on the mycelia growth of 3 sampled phytopathogenic fungi, and the inhibition rate were from 3.5% to 87.0%.[Conclusion] The inhibition rates of Impatiens balsamina on 3 fungi were from 12.8% to 87.0%,and from 40.0% to 69.8% of Andrographis paniculata. The I.balsamina and A.paniculata had values for further research and development.
