The book of Wen Zi adopts Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi's idea that man should transcend his individual life.Based on the unity of man and nature,it advocates keeping innermost being while being aware of behavior,which means people should follow the law of nature.With a peaceful and harmonious heart,man should remain nihilistic,amiable,quiet,delicate,pure and simple so as to realize the eternal life and spiritual transcendence.In the book of Wen Zi,the author aims to pursue the ideal state and high character of a man at the ultimate level.
