Abstract
The essential difference is found out between the energy dissipation of low Froude jump and commom one through the experimental study. The change characteristics of hydraulic factors such as wave energy, section vertical distribution of velocity, length of the part behind jump, bottom velocity by the reduction of Fr in the part behind the low Froude jump are obtained.Some effective measures using energy dissipation in low Foude jump are analyzed.
