Abstract
Objective To observe the expression of Ets1 mRNA in lung cancer tissue microarray by FISH method, and investigate the role and significance of it in lung cancer genesis and progress. Methods The expression of Ets1 mRNA in lung cancer was detected by tissue microarray technology and fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH) method. Results 70.4% of lung cancer samples expressed Ets1 mRNA; the positive rate of lung cancer samples was significantly higher than that of normal lung tissue(P0.05); the expression of Ets1 mRNA was related to the differentiation degrees, lymph node metastasis and clinical stages(P0.05). Conclusion Tissue microarray technology has many advantages, such as high efficiency, convenience, economy and standardization; FISH is sensitive, steady, and preservative. Ets1 mRNA was highly expressed in lung cancer; it was related to the progress and malignant behavior; it may play an important role in lung cancer genesis and progress and offer basis to prognosis estimate and treatment.
