Vowel Pattern of Modern Uyghur

Uyghur vowels operate horizontally as a dual-level structure in the vowel system.Syllabically,single vowel operates as a unit and forms a syllable with consonants according to the syllable structure patterns.In the lexical level,sets of vowels as a unit operate on the basis of the patterns of vowel harmony and form the words.The vowel sets lie in the different levels in the vowel system and the features of construction patterns of them are also different.They form different types of vowel harmony in accordance with different vowel harmony rule,which are different but connected with each other,thus forming an integral vowel pattern in Uygur language.
