Abstract
Geoelectrochemical prospecting method is applied in Taifu gold deposit in Heng County Guangxi. The original method and technique are improved and gold geoeletrochemical anomalies take place over known gold ore bodies. It is verified that the improved geoelectrochemical method and technique are feasible and available. Five geoelectrochemical anomaly belts are circled, and gold ore bodies discovered under Ⅳ-1 anomaly and Ⅳ-2 anomaly of Ⅳanomaly belt through prospecting while mining. Gold mineralisation is discovered in drill hole of Ⅱ-1 anomaly of Ⅱanomaly belt. Mining pits for villagers are seen in Ⅲ-2 anomaly. Gold mineralisation bodies are discovered in prospecting trenches of Ⅴanomaly belt, and average grade of them is 2.063×10~(-6). It is confirmed that the method is available in geological prospecting.
