Abstract

Yinchengzi tomb murals of Han dynasty reflect the idea of immortality which demonstrates the striking characteristic of that time.This paper discusses the historical and geographical background of the tombs,idea expressed in the murals as well as their influence,holding the view that the advanced culture of Han dynasty had already spread to Dalian.Archaeological study proves that the tombs of Han dynasty in Dalian bear close relationship with the central plains region and reveal abundant cultural connotations.
