Abstract
This paper introduces the principle and design of a wireless remote mo nitor and control terminal base on SMS of GSM. The terminal consists of a wirele ss GSM module (TC35T module produced by Siemens company) and a monitoring and co ntrol unit taking single-chip microcomputer (AT89S52) as the core. Using the AT commands,the monitoring and control unit can communicate with the GSM module th ough serial interface. The terminal let people monitor and control the equipment s easily and conveniently by Chinese short message of mobile phone,using GSM mo dule TC35T. It has the function that people can self-define the terminal accordi ng to idiographic object monitored and controlled,and makes the operation of pe ople more intuitive and convenient.
