Abstract

After the 1.0 MM TPY ethylene plant came on stream in SINOPEC Zhenhai Refining Chemical Co.,Ltd.,the integrated refining and chemical complex has been operated to maximize fuel oil,olefin or aromatics through application of appropriate process routs,molecular management concept and innovative thinking and based upon the specific properties of crude oils and unique features of different process areas.As the result,the feedstocks,energy and utilities in each process area are optimally utilized and aConventional Petroleum Refineryhas developed into a modernIntegrated Refining Chemical Complex.
