The Pathway and Policy of Chinese Indigenous Innovation

The traditional definition of indigenous innovation was modified and expended in this paper,which we defined as the innovation process to develop and apply technologies with independent intellectual property within the discipline of total innovation management,which was initialed by secondary innovation and integration innovation.Furthermore,we proposed that enterprises in China should complement research driven innovation with non-research driven innovation,namely business model innovation,disruptive innovation,reverse innovation,innovation driven by merger and acquisition,design driven innovation,and coordinated systematically.We explained the roles played by government,university and national public research in the last section of this paper.
