Abstract

This paper mainly introduced the functions of GIS and summarized the GIS application actuality. Then, it discussed the integration tactics and advantages and shortcomings among the systems of traditional GIS、 distributed GIS(C/S) and WEB GIS and pointed out that WEB GIS system integration will be the main technique of GIS system in the this century.
