Abstract
The influences of the operation conditions(pressure, temperature, space velocity, the molar ratios of steam to methane and oxygen to methane) on autothermal reforming of methane to syngas over the prepared Ni/α-Al2O3 catalyst were investigated in a fixed bed micro-reactor.Under the conditions:space velocity 2000 h-1,steam/methane molar ratio 1.0,oxygen/methane molar ratio 0.6,pressure 0.5MPa and temperature 1073K,the methane conversion, hydrogen yield and carbon monoxide selectivity were about 96.7%,70.8% and 62.4%,respectively.The 120 hours life test showed the catalyst had good stability.
