Abstract

In China, the most of the grasslands are going to be the desertification areas. The reconstruction of the grassland ecosystem should be the main task in those areas. For the sustainable developing of the areas in the 21 century, the study of the grassland ecosystem should be extended for: 1)the relationship of the grassland ecosystem with the water resource utilization. 2)the desertification resistance mechanism of the herbage species and it’s community. 3)grassland exploring for non agriculture utilization and its effects on the environment. 4)the monitory for the process of grassland degradation.
