Abstract
In order to improve the biodegradability of pharmaceutical wastewater,Fenton oxidation has been employed to pretreat it.The factors having effects on COD removal, such as pH,H2O2 dosage,FeSO4 dosage and reaction time were discussed. The optimistic conditions were shown as follows: pH is 1,the reaction time is 90 min,the dosage of H2O2(30%) and FeSO4(0.3 mol/L) are 0.25 mL(about 833 mg/L) and 1 mL(about 834 mg/L),respectively.In these conditions, the removal efficiency of COD is 21.97%.Use PAC as coagulant and mix the experiment of congealing to this waste water, its removal efficiency of COD is only 7.9%.Compared the two,the effective of Fenton oxidation is better. It can be used as pre-treatment of biological treatment.
