Abstract
The maneuverable capability of air to air missile is the very important problem in the overall design of air to air missile. The missile kinetic model, the missile kinematic model, missile TVC model and the target kinematic model are established.By performing typical ballistic trajectory simulations, the maneuverable capability of short-range dogfight missile is confirmed, including the maximum value of turn angular rate and required overload. The results of the maneuverable capability could provide reference on the overall design of air to air missile.
