The Study on Countermeasures and Investigation of Farmland Conversion in the Undeveloped Regions of Henan Province

Henan province is a big agricultural province in China. In under economical globalization background,its agricultural products do not have distinct comparative advantages in the international competition and its fragmentary household management model is also uncompetitive in the fierce market competition. The effective way to make the agricultural products more competitive is to carry out the scale management of rural land moderately and the important measure to advance it is the conversion of farmland on an appropriate scale. The field survey in the six cities of Henan Province such as Kaifeng,Nanyang,etc. shows that there exist many problems in the process of farmland conversion in Henan Province as small scale,simple mode,etc. Based on that,alternative models for rural land transfer in Henan Province and suggestions about how to standardize it are given.
