Abstract
By use of the node virtual discharge method and introduction of inhomogeneous stratified material elements and planar non-thickness elements, a numerical model is established for analysis of the seepage field of the Jiangya roller compacted concrete gravity dam. Based on the back-analysis of the tensor of permeability coefficients of several main materials of the dam and respective sensitive feedback calculations under several typical operation conditions, a study is made on the seepage characteristics about the distribution of the hydraulic heads and uplifts in the dam body and foundation, so as to verify the reasonability and effectiveness of the seepage control scheme.
