Abstract
Butyl acetate was synthesized catalyzed by ceria-zirconia solid solution using acetic acid and butyl alcohol under microwave irradiation.Influences of microwave irradiation power, reaction time, the amount of catalyst,acetic/butyl alcohol ratio on the conversion of acetic acid were investigated. The optimum condition of the process was that the conversion of acetic acid can reach 64.1%,under the conditions of medium-high firepower,Ce_(0.6)Zr_(0.4)O_(2) solid solution(0.5 g) as the catalyst, the mole ratio of acetic acid to butyl alcohol is 1∶1,react 15 min.Compared with the tradition heat(react 4 h,conversion(62.2%)),the rate is enhanced and the conversion is increased.
