Abstract
【Objective】To explore the effect of mannitol on cerebral edema according the dose and time in rabbit model of intra-cerebral hemorrhage.【Methods】The rabbit intra-cerebral hemorrhage model was prepared with injecting collagenase and they were divided randomly into 4 groups by giving or not giving mannitol. The variability of edema was examined after different therapy time.【Results】There were not distinction in one-dose mannitol and half-dose mannitol injected q8h.There was definite effect both of them.【Conclusion】Half-dose mannitol injected q8h could effectively treat cerebral edema.
