Abstract

The economic reforms in China and Russia had different starting points: China started from the economic field while Russia from the political system, which were the contingent choices in the light of the order of urgency of the problems to be solved in China and Russia respectively at the time. The article also analyzed the difference of gradual way and radical way in the reforms in China and Russia, the costs and the great difference in the result of the reforms as well as the reasons behind them.
