Abstract

Using interfacial tensiometer, surface viscoelasticitymeter and turbidimeter, the influences of crude oil fractions on the stability of produced water emulsion of Shengli oilfield were analyzed.Analysis results showed that the interfacial tension of asphaltene was the lowest and that of wax was the highest when the concentration of each fraction in model oil was equal, while the interface shear viscosity of asphaltene was the highest and that of wax was the lowest in the same shear rate. With the increment of fraction concentration, the interfacial tension would decrease, the interface shear viscosity would increase and the stability of emulsion would become stronger. The stability of the three kinds of emulsion decreased in the following order: asphaltene resinwax.
