Abstract
Taking Pinus tabulaeformis plantation of Manhan mountain as the research object, under the guidance of the principles of scientific attribute, representativeness, easy maneuverability, system integrity and based on field investigation,Pinus tabulaeformis Plantation health assessment indicator system in central Inner Mongolia was established which was based on the combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,Frequency analysis method,Isometric Cut method and Mean-variance comprehensive analysis method. Results showed that most of these forests in Manhan mountain are in sub-healthy condition.Intermediate thinning measures must be taken to adjust the stand to the healthy development, and to produce a better comprehensive benefit of Pinus tabulaeformis plantation.
