A Review on Methodology in Oil and Gas Geochemical Exploration

Based upon a review on important role and contribution of oil and gas geochemical exploration in the development history of China petroleum industry,analysis of its present situation and future prospect,summarizing analytical technologies and methods in oil and gas geochemical exploration and their advantages and applications,this paper strongly offers the proposals in four aspects for analytical technology and method researches in oil and gas survey in China,i.e.strengthening research on basic theory and developing new application technology,developing new in-door and out-door analytical techniques for ocean oil and gas geochemical exploration,constructing the administration platform and petrogeochemical databank for oil and gas geochemical survey,coordinating comprehensive application of multi-discipline in oil and gas survey.
