The status of HIV infection among TB inpatients in Dalian

Objective:To understand the state of HIV infection among the inpatients of tuberculosis in Dalian and to provide evidence for TB∕HIV co-infection control.Methods:TB patient in hospital during Jan.1.2009 to Dec.31.2011were screened by HIV antibiotic test with ELISA,those with positive result in primary screening were given final screening of HIV infection by WB.Results: 7726 TB patients were screened and 14 HIV positive cases,The infection rate was 0.18%.HIV infection rate was 0.2% and 0.1% in male and female in 20~58 years.TB/HIV patients were mainly young people,accounting for 78.6%.TB∕HIV co-infection patients were rising year by year.Conclusions: HIV antibiotic test of TB patient in tuberculosis hospital is necessary,which has important significance on the control of TB∕HIV co-infection.
