Abstract

The definitions of the bending stiffness the shearing stiffness and the rhombic stiffness are introduced.Their influences on the performance of freight car bogie when passing straight track and curve are analyzed in the paper.The formulas of the bending stiffness?the shearing stiffness and the rhombic stiffness are introduced.Based on the front part,the development and application of Chinese freight car bogies are analyzed.Some advice to investigate and develop freight car bogie is put forward finally.
