Confucian Attitudes towards Life in "Confucian Analects"

Abstract

Since Analects has been a millennium Confucian classic,people hold differ-ent opinions on it.Most of us just pay attention to its political function but ignore the interaction between Confucius and his students,resulting in their ignorant of the attitude towards life which is expatiated in the book.Basing on interlocutions in Analects,this paper elaborates Confucian attitudes towards life in the aspects of wealth status,making friends and respecting the elder.
