Abstract

Objective To study the effect of pereutaneous autologous bone marrow transplantation for the management of nonunion of fractures. Methods 27 cases were enrolled.The autologous red marrow was injected into the site of the nonunion under C-arm image intensifier.Every case had the X-ray follow-up regularly.Results 23 cases got union in 3～11 months,3 cases have a little bone scabs,1 cases have no bone scabs.Conclusions Autologous bone marrow transplantation is an alternative for nonunion of fractures.
