Abstract
A kind of linear differential equation with variable coefficients is turned into fourth order constant coefficient linear differential equation with self-variable transformation of unknown function,and then a new solvable type of fourth order linear differential equation with variable coefficients is obtained.Thus,the famous fourth order Euler equation is expanded.
