Levels of tissue factor pathway inhibitor and its clinical significance in patients with cerebral hemorrhage and cerebral infarction

Objective:To explore the value of clinical implication of tissue factor pathway inhibitor (TFPI)with cerebral hemorrhage and cerebral infarction.Methods:The activity of plasma TFPI were determined by Chromgenic Substrates in 17 patients with cerebral hemorrhage and in 49 patients with cerebral infarction(32 cases lacunar infarct and 17 cases cerebral embolism) and normal voluntees.Results:The activity of plasma TFPI of patients with cerebral hemorrhage and cerebral embolism were significantly high(P0.01,P0.05) in acute period,and with lacunar infarct were slightly decrease (P0.05)in acute period. Conclusion:The plasma TFPI changes are correlation with types and degree of seriousness of acute cerebravscular disease.There will be important values in trentment and predicting.
