Abstract
High intensity focused ultrasound(HIFU)has been considered as a new and non-invasive technique in tumor treatment.It can penetrate tissues and focus on the target region of the tumor,then the target tissue becomes coagulative necrosis by thermal effect,and no damage could be found in peripheral normal tissue. At present,the use of HIFU in the treatment of pancreatic cancer is considered to be feasible and safe.This paper reviews the application of HIFU in treatment of pancreatic cancer.
