Abstract
Since the first transgenic rice was got by Chinese Academy of Science through ion-mediating in 1994,transgenic rice has developed sharply because of its economic value.A series of transgenic rice have occurred including following characteristic features: herbicide tolerance, insect tolerance, virus tolerance, press tolerance, etc. As the existing problem of biosafety of transgenic rice,it has not been approved for extensive commercial cultivation. In this article we summarize the biosafety of transgenic rice, including approaches and conditions of transgene flow, transgene flow from transgenic rice to non-transgenic rice, wild rice and weedy rice, and the strategy in control of transgene flow.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
