On the Guiding Significance of Mao Zedong’s and Deng Xiaoping’s Theories of Democratic Politics to the Construction of the Democratic Politics with Chinese Characteristics

Abstract
It is pointed out in the White Book of “The Construction of Chinese Democratic Politics” that the characteristics in Chinese socialist democratic politics include the following: 1. Chinese democracy is the people’s one under the leadership of CPC, one with majority of people as masters, one with people’s democratic dictatorship as reliable safeguard, and one with democratic centralism as fundamental organizing principle and activity way. It is Mao Zedong’s and Deng Xiaoping’s Theories of Democratic Politics that provide its theoretical bases.
