Abstract
Architecture is defined as the structure of components,their relationship,and the principles and guidelines governing their design and evolving over time.Recently,C4ISR architecture is emerging as one of the primary research areas in military domain and also one of the key techniques for the development of large-scale military information system.The importance and the major direction of C4ISR architecture research are summarized.The progress of researches on C4ISR architecture technique is subsequently introduced from three aspects after the definition of C4ISR system architecture is introduced.Finally,some significantly promising tendency about the research on C4ISR architecture is presented based on the analysis of the deficiency of the current research on architecture.
