Abstract
This paper reports on the preparation of perylene colloids by using the reprecipitation method and studies the properties of colloids fluorescence. The experiments conducted showed that the fluorescence excitation and emission were measured at 400 nm and 565 nm respectively. The fluorescence intensity(λem=565nm) was significantly increased by increasing surfactants concentration in a lower region. However, the fluorescence intensity of colloids decreased when the concentration of surfactants was too high. This paper discusses the physical mechanism of the phenomenon.
