On the competitiveness of Anhui textile industry cluster based on GEM model

This paper constructs an index system for the evaluation of competitiveness of the textile industry cluster by applying groundings-enterprises-markets(GEM) model,and quantitatively evaluates the competitiveness of the textile industry cluster in Anhui Province.Empirical study shows that the competitiveness of Anhui textile industry cluster is above the national average level,but still needs to be improved,with the factor of facilities scoring the highest,that of the resources scoring relatively high and those like corporate structure,competition and strategies and external market scoring lower.In light of the empirical analysis,the paper proposes some countermeasures and suggestions to enhance the competitiveness of Anhui textile industry cluster.
