Abstract

Objective To investigate the distribution patterns and antibiotic resistance of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, so as to gaide the rational antibiotics usage in treatment of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, infection. Methods AUTO Scan-4 was used for the identification of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia clinical sputum isolates and test the susceptibility SO isolates were caused by noso-comial infection. Results A total of 50 strains of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia are multi-drug resistant. But the resistant ratios of trimehoprim-sulfamethoxazole,ciprofloxacin are lower. Conclusion The rate of isolating Stenotrophomonas maltophilia strains from clinical samples has been rising. The nosocomial infection of PMA should be paid attention to clinical doctors and inspectors.
