Abstract

An ion chromatographic method for the simultaneous analysis F-,Cl-,SO42- and NO3- in tea samples was developed with ICS-2000 system. Conditions for separation and detection of F-,Cl-,SO42- and NO3- by gradient ion-chromatography with suppressed conductivity detection were studied. The gradient elution procedure was optimized as 8-44-52-8 mmol/L and the flow rate as 1.0 ml/min. It was found that the correlation coefficients of linear regression equations were abover 0.9999, and the detection limits of those anions were in the range of 0.01-0.05 mg/L, the recoveries of the method were between 88.6% to 107.5%. The method could be applied to the analysis of the batch tea samples with satisfactory results and speediness.
