Abstract

Objective To investigate the susceptibility of 324 strains of mycoplasma from urinary and genital tract to 9 antibiotics. Methods The isolation and susceptibility test of Ureaplasma urealyticum(UU) and Mycoplasma hominis(MH) were performed with kits for culture, identification and counting. Results The isolation rates of UU,MH and UU with MH were 76.54%,3.7%,19.75% respectively in 324 strains of mycoplasma.UU,MH and UU with MH were more sensitive to Doxycycline,Minocycline and Josamycin than other antibiotics. The susceptibility rate of UU to the the above-mentioned drugs was 93.55%,93.55%,91.13%,respectively.The susceptibility rate of MH to the above-mentioned drugs was 100%,100%,91.67%,respectively.The susceptibility rate of UU with MH to the above-mentioned drugs was 90.63%,93.75%,89.06%,respectively. Conclusions UU is the major pathogen of mycoplasma infection in genitourinary tract UU,MH and UU with MH are more sensitive to Doxycycline,Minocycline and Josamycin.Mycoplasma has varying drug resistance to the commonly used antibiotics. The different mycoplasma infection performance of drug resistance is inconsistent. The results obtained indicate that we should select antimicrobial agents according to the results of culture and antimicrobial susceptibility.
