Macro-Perspective on the Evolution of Party Political Models in Modern China

Abstract

Ever since the Revolution of 1911,the China has experienced an evolution of tri-model in party politics,namely the multi-party competitive party politics in the early years of the Republic of China,the dictatorship of one party of the Kuomintang and the pattern of the multi-party participation under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,and the pattern has changed from multi-polarization to one point and finally to the harmonious pattern of one leading party with multiparty participation.The reason why is closely linked with the advancedness and maturity of Chinese political parties themselves,and more is subjected to the complex evolution of modern Chinese society during the large-scale transformation age.
