Abstract
Influence of twice quenching with zero holding on microstructure and properties of 25MnV steel was studied. The results show that the strength and hardness of 25MnV steel after single quenching from 870-910 ℃ with zero holding are increased with increasing of austenitizing temperature, and then begin to decrease above 910 ℃.Within the range of experiment′s temperature, the strength and hardness of 25MnV steel after twice quenching with zero holding are better than quenched in zero holding, and the best mechanical properties can be obtained after first quenching at 910 ℃ in zero holding and then second quenching at 900 ℃ in zero holding, the microstructure is crypto-crystal martensite.
