Medicinal plant resources of Guanshan Nature Reserve in Jiangxi Province

A survey of medicinal plant resources revealed that there exists 1 378 species of medicinal plants,including 210 species of common traditional medicinal plants,in Guanshan Nature Reserve,Jiangxi Province.There are 4 species of medicinal algae,26 species of medicinal fungi,36 species of medicinal mosses,5 species of lichens,93 species of medicinal pteridophytes,642 species of medicinal spermatophytes,94 species of rare and endangered plants,124 species of medicinal ornamentals,127 species of medicinal animals and agricultural pharmaceutics in this district.Moreover,9 species of new distribution in Jiangxi were found.The development and utilization of medicinal plant resources in the reserve were also introduced.
