Abstract
In order to obtain a higher production strain of L-arginine,a Gram-positive strain identified by our lab was used as an initial strain in this study.The initial strain has a flora colony characteristic,and it can produce the whole amino acids.Ultraviolet irradiation and one structural analog called Carboxymethyl-L-Cysteine of arginine were used to select higher production strain,finally a promising higher production strain was identified,named as mutant-3.The fermentation experiment results showed that under the condition of 160r/min and 30℃ for 90h,the amount of L-arginine was 78.79μg/3ml,which was about 3.71 times higher than that of initial strain.Mutant-3 was approved to be a promising strain with better production stability by a series of fermentation experiments.This study could provide some references for screening arginine producer strain,and give some important uses for selecting other amino acid producer strain.
