Abstract

Objective To observe the expression and significance of CD4+CD25+FoxP3+ regulatory T cells(Treg cell) in peripheral blood, serum IL-17 and IL-23 in patients with acute leukemia(AL).Methods The frequencies of CD4+CD25+FoxP3+ Treg cell in peripheral blood, serum levels of interleukin(IL)-17 and IL-23 both in 25 cases of acute leukemia(AML 15 cases and ALL 10 cases) and 10 healthy controls(control group) were detected by flow cytometry and ELISA,respectively. The significance and correlation of them were analyzed. Results The ratio of CD4+CD25+FoxP3+ Treg cell in acute myelogenoas leukemia(AML) was significantly higher than that in control group[(6.52±3.25) vs.(3.58±1.02)](P0.05).Serum level of IL-17 in AML and ALL was significantly higher than that in control group [(7.21±2.00),(7.47±1.63) vs.(4.52±1.62)](P0.05).The serum IL-17 in AL patients was positively correlated with serum IL-23(P0.05).Conclusion CD4+CD25+Foxp3+ Treg cells and IL-17 cell might take the important roles in immunosupprossion in AML,while IL-17 cell might take an important role in immunosupprossion in ALL.
