Abstract

With the development of new ultrasound contrast agents and sonographic techniques,ultrasound diagnosis for liver deseases has entered a new stage.Contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS) has considerably improved the accuracy of diagnosis of earlier period cirrhosis and small hepatocellular carcinomas in cirrhotic patients.This overview is given on the role of contrast-enhanced ultrasound for liver cirrhosis diagnosis.
